IN TRANSIT

Synopsis:

IN TRANSIT addresses the realities of thousands of Latin American mothers who travel alone to Europe to find economic stability and the consequences of this long-distance transnational relationship they establish with their children. These are extreme situations that are not talked about, that are unknown, and that will have significant repercussions for their entire lives.

Through the dialogue established between these immigrant women and their children, IN TRANSIT shows the day-to-day experience of migration “here” and the conditions of those who remain “there.” A communication full of codes whose message sometimes doesn’t reach, is lost, or is transformed, and it is essential to understand both realities to decipher it.

These are gripping, heartbreaking stories, but with a glimmer of hope for the future.
